Apart from the commandments and teachings that are applicable to all Christians, God has entrusted to each one of us particular roles and missions that are unique to us, awaiting for our responses and actions. In short, we need to understand what God is asking of us specifically. The job of the Holy Spirit is to coach us and lead us to this realization. Then we are required to work closely with the Spirit in fulfilling those roles and missions. It takes time for us to come to a full realization of our unique calling. The way the Spirit guides and coaches us is through frequent inspirations in our daily lives. The moment we respond faithfully to His inspiration, God will grant us the necessary grace and strength to accomplish it, even if it is beyond our own abilities and capacity to handle. Our faithfulness to one inspiration leads us to the next.[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row disabled_on=”off|off|off” _builder_version=”4.4.3″ background_enable_color=”off” width=”50%” width_tablet=”70%” width_phone=”75%” width_last_edited=”on|phone” max_width=”75%”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.3″][et_pb_image src=”https://pentecost.fll.cc/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/quotation-mark.png” _builder_version=”4.4.3″ animation_style=”bounce”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text admin_label=”Quote” _builder_version=”4.4.3″ header_font=”|600|||||||” header_text_align=”center” header_text_color=”#ffffff” custom_padding=”|20px||20px|false|false” animation_style=”zoom”]

When we profit from an inspiration that our Lord sends, he then sends another, and thus our Lord continues his graces as long as we continue to profit from them.

– St. Francis de Sales[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.4.3″ custom_padding=”65px|||||”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.4.3″][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.4.3″ animation_style=”flip”]Slowly but surely, we will realize what God is actually asking of us in different stages of our life. Our continuous faithfulness (docility) to the prompts of the Spirit promotes us from one stage to the next, until we have come to a full/fuller realization of our unique mission in life. This process requires in particular our faithfulness, patience and perseverance, on top of humility, openness and our willingness. The more we practice our docility to the Spirit, the stronger and more frequent His inspirations, and the more graces will be granted to us who heed His voice.
